Hi my name is Sissi Chavez and I am running for Secretary for the 2020-2021 school year. I am currently a sophomore at Santa Cruz High but I will be a Junior the following school year. I am very out going, I enjoy the outdoors, and I enjoy meeting new people. This position would be a very good experience for me because I enjoy taking notes in meetings, I like to participate in meetings, and I like to step out of my comfort zone. Some achievements that I acknowledge to this day is when I received an award. That award was a scholarship that will help me when I enter college. Another achievement is that when teachers spot me working hard they compliment how hard I’ve worked. The goal that I have for SCHS is that I want SCHS to be an environment where school spirit is seen. I also would like to incorporate recognizing clubs and sports teams at rallies that don’t really get recognized. I feel like they will be very proud that there is recognition seen.
NOTE: Sissi has also been nominated to serve as the Class of 2022 President.
